Executive and Musical Director
Dean Oliver has been married to Robine for almost 30 years and they have two grown children. Dean has pastored as well as been minister in music at churches all across the south east. About 10 years ago, God began to stir in his heart the desire to form a community worship choir. For the last 4+ years, Dean and Robine have been diligently developing and leading the GWC to what it is today. Along with directing the choir, Dean is currently on staff at Roswell Street Church in Marietta. 

President
Tim Smith is a retired accountant but works a PT job with the Gwinnett County Jury Division as a Courtroom Bailiff. He has been married to Debbie for 28 years. Tim is a member of Social Circle Baptist and sings in the Choir/Praise Team. Tim has sung for the GWC for 2 seasons. In his spare time he enjoys UGA sports and watching the Atlanta Braves. He loves to make people laugh and His favorite bible verse is John 3:16. Tim's term of service on the GWC board began in the fall of 2024. 

Vice President
Marilyn Berberich is originally from Waukegan, Illinois. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Matthew and they have 2 grown sons, a grandson and granddaughter. Marilyn is a retired Administrative/Executive Assistant. She enjoys sewing, interior design and British Period Dramas. Believing personally in Jesus since a young girl, Marilyn grew up singing hymns at church and later harmonizing in choir. Her life verse is Isaiah 42:6: “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness. I will take hold of your hand.” Marilyn's term of service with the GWC board began in the Fall of 2024.

Chief Operating Officer
Hope Wingate is married to Jonathan and they have three teenagers. She is a homeschooling mom and is very active in the homeschool community. Hope is a certified biblical counselor to women and children. She serves on the leadership team of a local BSF class as well as on the worship team at her church. In her spare time, Hope enjoys watching apologetics on YouTube and murder mysteries. Her term of service with the GWC board began in the Spring of 2021. 

Treasurer
Harry Gibson is married to Cheryl and between them they have seven daughters and eleven
grandchildren. He has been a member of Lawrenceville FBC since 1991, where he serves in
many roles. His favorite scripture is Romans 10:13. He has been a certified public accountant since 1985. Harry started singing in high school and has been singing ever since. Singing is an outstanding form of worship of our Lord. So, when you sing, do it well and with passion.

Secretary
Barbara is a retired early childhood educator.  She has one daughter who lives in New York.  They travel together several times a year.  She has been singing in choirs since her teenage years.  Currently she is a member of Sunrise Baptist Church and has been singing in their choir since 2015.  She enjoys reading and word puzzles.  She has been an alto with GWC since the inaugural season.  Each season she looks forward to learning the new songs!

Director
Roberta is a retired Administrative Assistant, most recently Church on a Hill, in Lilburn, GA, where she has been a member since 2000. She sang in the choir and currently sings on the worship team. In addition to her love for singing, she enjoys reading, HGTV design shows, interior decorating and flower arranging.
Roberta joined the GWC in the Spring of 2023 and began serving as the captain of GWC’s Administrative team in the Spring of 2024. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Director
Lisa Hendrix is a 7th Grade Language Arts Teacher in Gwinnett County.  She has been married for 27 years and has two daughters. Lisa is a member of North Metro Baptist Church in Braselton where she sings with the choir and on the praise team.  Her favorite verse is John 10:10:  " The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I came that they might have life and have it abundantly." 

Director
Orvetta Moore is a retired educator with one adult daughter. Orvetta now educates in the financial realm. She is an author, DIYer at heart and loves to sew. She is involved with various ministries at her home church as well as her own non-profit. Her main love is for worshipping the Lord which immediately drew her to the Georgia Worship Choir in 2025. One of her favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11. Her service on the Board began in the Fall of 2026.

Director & Social Media
Brielle Gaines is married to Cameron and at home they enjoy life with their four dogs. When she’s not running her bubble tea shops, you’ll usually find Brielle talking about Jesus, fresh milled flour, or inviting someone to worship with the Georgia Worship Choir. Her favorite Bible passage is James 1:2–4. Her term of service on the Board of Directors began in the Fall of 2026.

Tech Support Staff
Daniel Hill works with the Gwinnett County Water Department. He has been married to Leigh for 11 years. Daniel is a member of Sunrise Baptist in Lawrencevile and has been singing in the church choir since 2013. Daniel has sung bass for the GWC since season one. He currently serves on the Tech and Logistics Team. His term of service on the GWC choir board began in the Fall of 2024.
