Executive and Musical Director
Dean Oliver has been married to Robine for almost 30 years and they have two grown children. Dean has pastored as well as been minister in music at churches all across the south east. About 10 years ago, God began to stir in his heart the desire to form a community worship choir. For the last 4+ years, Dean and Robine have been diligently developing and leading the GWC to what it is today. Along with directing the choir, Dean is currently on staff at Roswell Street Church in Marietta. 

President
Tim Smith is a retired accountant but works a PT job with the Gwinnett County Jury Division as a Courtroom Bailiff. He has been married to Debbie for 27 years. Tim is a member of Lawrenceville First Baptist, sings in the church choir as a bass/tenor and is a Deacon. Tim has sung for the GWC for 2 seasons. In his spare time he enjoys UGA sports and watching the Atlanta Braves. He loves to make people laugh and His favorite bible verse is John 3:16. Tim's term of service on the GWC board began in the fall of 2024. 

Vice President
Chrystol Wilson-Payne is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been an alto for the GWC since its inaugural season. Chrystol is a devoted wife and mother of twin daughters. She is committed to ensuring the choir’s continued success in reaching and inspiring others through worship. Her term of service on the board of directors began in the Fall of 2024.

Chief Operating Officer
Hope Wingate is married to Jonathan and they have three teenagers. She is a homeschooling mom and is very active in the homeschool community. Hope is a certified biblical counselor to women and children. She serves on the leadership team of a local BSF class as well as on the worship team at her church. In her spare time, Hope enjoys watching apologetics on YouTube and murder mysteries. Her term of service with the GWC board began in the Spring of 2021. 

Treasurer
Harry Gibson is married to Cheryl and between them they have seven daughters and eleven
grandchildren. He has been a member of Lawrenceville FBC since 1991, where he serves in
many roles. His favorite scripture is Romans 10:13. He has been a certified public accountant since 1985. Harry started singing in high school and has been singing ever since. Singing is an outstanding form of worship of our Lord. So, when you sing, do it well and with passion.

Secretary
Marilyn Berberich is originally from Waukegan, Illinois. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Matthew and they have 2 grown sons, a grandson and granddaughter. Marilyn is a retired Administrative/Executive Assistant. She enjoys sewing, interior design and British Period Dramas. Believing personally in Jesus since a young girl, Marilyn grew up singing hymns at church and later harmonizing in choir. Her life verse is Isaiah 42:6: “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness. I will take hold of your hand.” Marilyn's term of service with the GWC board began in the Fall of 2024.

Director
René Jarvis serves in executive administrative roles for the Personnel Department at
The Salvation Army’s Territorial Headquarters. René is a lay member of her church
and sings in three choirs, including the Georgia Worship Choir.
René has four beautiful children and is a lover of the Lord and of music. In her free time she loves to play board/card games, walk on the treadmill, spend time with her family, play instruments, learn new instruments, sing, and worship. René's GWC Board term of service began in the Fall of 2024.

Director
Andrea Robinson is married to Stephen and has two daughters. Aside from her heart for family and passion for the Lord, Andrea has a profound love for music, which led her to join GWC in 2023. In addition to serving with the GWC, Andrea is  involved in various Bible studies, using her gifts in women’s ministry while digging deep into God’s word. Andrea's favorite bible verse is Psalm 18:28. Her term of service on the board of directors began in the Fall of 2024.

Director
Daniel Hill works with the Gwinnett County Water Department. He has been married to Leigh for 11 years. Daniel is a member of Sunrise Baptist in Lawrencevile and has been singing in the church choir since 2013. Daniel has sung bass for the GWC since season one. He currently serves on the Tech and Logistics Team. His term of service on the GWC choir board began in the Fall of 2024.

Director
Roberta is a retired Administrative Assistant, most recently Church on a Hill, in Lilburn, GA, where she has been a member since 2000. She sang in the choir and currently sings on the worship team. In addition to her love for singing, she enjoys reading, HGTV design shows, interior decorating and flower arranging.
Roberta joined the GWC in the Spring of 2023 and began serving as the captain of GWC’s Administrative team in the Spring of 2024. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Director
Barbara is a retired early childhood educator.  She has one daughter who lives in New York.  They travel together several times a year.  She has been singing in choirs since her teenage years.  Currently she is a member of Sunrise Baptist Church and has been singing in their choir since 2015.  She enjoys reading and word puzzles.  She has been an alto with GWC since the inaugural season.  Each season she looks forward to learning the new songs!

Director
Lisa Hendrix is a 7th Grade Language Arts Teacher in Gwinnett County.  She has been married for 27 years and has two daughters. Lisa is a member of North Metro Baptist Church in Braselton where she sings with the choir and on the praise team.  Her favorite verse is John 10:10:  " The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I came that they might have life and have it abundantly." 

Lola is originally from Kalamazoo, MI. She is an IT Support Specialist and mother to one daughter. 

She started enjoying music at about 10 years old and have been involved in several choirs, praise teams and an ensemble along the years.  She also has experience with sound teams. Lola is currently a part of the production team at her church. She has been a part of GWC since February 2024 and serves with the tech team. 

Director
Jimmy Robinson is a man of God that loves all without condition. He serves as the Pastor of Purpose World Church in Snellville Ga., a Grants Management Specialist at the Federal Government Environmental Protection Agency and is a proud disabled veteran of the United States Navy.  He has been married for 33 years and has 3 grown children. He has sung with GWC for 2 seasons. Jimmy's desire is to get to know God in the fellowship of His suffering and in the power of His resurrection, to be a vessel that God can trust and use to be a demonstration of His love, power, and light to all that are in darkness.
